So you know who your ideal clients are and you know you have an amazing solution for their problem. But all you’re getting are crickets..

This has nothing to do with your offers being bad. This is more of a visibility problem. A big misconception when it comes to visibility is posting on every social media channel there is. When you’re starting out building your coaching business, it’s important to focus on just 1 (maximum 2) social media channels. It’s extremely time consuming to focus on more platforms if it’s just a 1 man show at this moment. Also, every platform requires a different strategy to grow and gain traction from it. So trying to be everywhere for the sake of it, can be a waste of time as well. So how do you go about it?

The first thing you’d need to determine is where your ideal clients LOVE to hang out. Most times, the immediate answer is ‘‘well they use many social media channels.” I get that but trust me when I say that if you have to pick your top 2, you could. Your ideal clients are more active on one platform than the other. Well, that’s where you want to be. Get in front of them. Read about their challenges. Get into conversations with them to get to know them better. Start posting. This is how you create the RIGHT visibility around your personal brand.

So what should you post and how often?

The million-dollar question. Essentially, you want to post content around the challenges that their currently facing and the goals they want to achieve. Give them want they want. It’s that simple.

When it comes to frequency, it’s important to remember that consistency is the most important factor here. It’s better to be consistent with posting once a week than not being consistent at all.

I would recommend posting at least 3 times per week as a minimum. Every less than that is simply going to delay seeing traction from your social media content. Once you’ve found your flow, steadily increase it to 4 per week.
